Introduction

Self-attesting to a Compliance Framework within the AI System Manager allows you to formally document and verify your AI System’s alignment with specific regulatory or organizational standards. This process involves selecting the appropriate framework, responding to compliance items, and attaching any necessary documentation to support your responses. In this guide, we’ll walk through each step of the self-attestation process - from navigating the AI System Manager to completing and saving your framework responses - ensuring your AI System meets established requirements.

Preconditions

AI System Created

You must create an AI System to attach and complete a Compliance Framework. Frameworks can be attached during AI System creation, or afterwards on the AI System Details page.

Compliance Framework Attached

The Compliance Framework must be attached to an AI System to begin completing the requirements.

Entry Points

AI System Card

From the AI System Manager, locate the relevant AI System, click the 3-dot menu for the framework and select View Details to open the framework.

AI System Details

From the AI System Details, locate the relevant AI System, click the 3-dot menu for the framework and select View Details to open the framework.

Instructions

In the opened framework, respond to each compliance item using the text editor or attach relevant files, where applicable. You may save an in-progress framework using the Save & Close button. Your changes will not be saved if you close the framework without clicking Save & Close.

Free Text

For free text responses, simply type or paste your response in the text box.

Yes/No

For yes/no responses, select your answer from the dropdown.

File Attachment

For file attachment responses, click into the response field to open the file upload window.

Related Actions

Question-Level Scoring

You can use the Evaluate Answer button next to each question to score the individual response.

Section-Level Scoring

Once all responses in a section are complete, you can use the Evaluate Section button in each section header to score the section.

Full Framework Scoring

Once all responses in the framework are complete, you can use the Evaluate Answers button at the bottom of the screen to score the whole framework.
