Introduction
There are two ways to publish an AI Card on the Cranium platform: by responding to a received request or by publishing an AI Card without a request. This article will guide you through the process of responding to an AI Card request from either the Incoming Requests tab or from an AI System Details page.
Entry Points
Incoming Requests

From the AI Manager, open the Incoming Requests tab. Click the Review Request button in the Action column for the request you want to respond to.

The Review Request panel opens, showing:
- Requested By: Name and email of the person who sent the request
- Organization: The requesting organization's name
- Date Sent: When the request was created
- Request Details: Context and notes about what the requester needs
- Card Requirements: The specific artifacts requested (Compliance Frameworks, Bill of Materials, Additional Documentation, Vulnerability Reports)
Review the request details carefully. You have two options:
- Decline Request: Reject the request without creating an AI Card
- Create AI Card: Begin the publishing process to respond to this request
Click the blue Create AI Card button to proceed with responding to the request.
AI System Details

From the AI System Details page, click the Publish New AI Card button and select Respond to Request to begin the publishing process.
Responding to a Request
The AI Card publishing process consists of three steps. First, you'll select the request you're responding to (if starting from AI System Details). Next, you'll configure the AI Card by selecting which artifacts to include. Finally, you'll review your selections and confirm the details before publishing the AI Card to the requesting organization.
Select Request (AI System Details Entry Only)

In the Respond to Request dialog, click the Request dropdown menu to view a list of requests you have received. Select the request to which you are responding with the current AI System. Clicking on a request will display the request details. Once the request is selected, click the blue Continue button to move on to the card requirements.
Review AI Card Requirements

For this step, review the requesting organization’s card requirements. The dialog will display the Compliance & Trust requirements, the Bill of Materials requirements, including the framework type(s), and the Additional Documentation requirements. When you are ready to configure your AI Card, click the blue Continue button.
Configure the AI Card

The AI System field is pre-populated with the current AI System. Enter a unique Published Name for the AI Card. Then, select the Compliance Framework(s) to attach to the AI Card. You can only publish Compliance Frameworks that are completed and validated. Next, use the Bill of Materials and Vulnerability Reports dropdown menus to select the artifacts to be attached to the AI Card. Lastly, use the Additional Documentation dropdown menu to attach any supplemental documents to the AI Card. Be sure to intentionally select the required artifacts, as artifacts are not pre-selected based on the Card Requirements. Once you have completed the configuration, click the blue Continue button to move on to the last step.
Review the AI Card

For the last step, review the requesting organization’s card requirements and your published version of the AI Card prior to submitting. The dialog will display the requesting organization’s requirements on the left, and the artifacts that have been attached to your AI Card on the right. Once you have reviewed the AI Card, click the blue Respond button to publish the AI Card.
